Granite State 3D Facial Recognition Technology Company Animetrics Wins SwANH's Coveted "Rookie of the Year"
NH Governor Hails Homeland Security Start-Up's Technology Innovation and Market Traction.
 
JACKSON, NH - October 6, 2004 - Animetrics Inc., a  leading developer of next generation 3D image analysis solutions for facial biometric systems,  announced today that the Software Association of New Hampshire (SwANH) has awarded it the prestigious  "Rookie of the Year" in recognition of Animetrics' impressive product and business development success in the company's first year of operation.  SwANH Chairman James McKim and New Hampshire Governor Craig Benson presented Animetrics CEO Paul Schuepp with the award at the InfoXchange conference, SwANH's 10th annual conference on September 30 in Nashua, NH.

Animetrics edged out a number of other entries to win the Rookie of the Year Award.  The SwANH sponsored contest evaluated New Hampshire-based start-up companies in their first year of operation. A panel of business experts measured each company on a number of criteria including fundraising prowess with investors, technology innovation and the overall market potential for each company's products.  Animetrics secured top honors due to the company's ability to raise over $1 million in seed funding and its unique 3D imaging analysis technology for advanced facial recognition applications serving the growing homeland security market.
 
The subject of this years' InfoXchange conference was Hot Topics in New Hampshire's Technology Industry with three primary tracks including: Technology Trends, IT Value Management and Business Development Issues.   At the conference, Animetrics, CEO Paul Schuepp spoke on Lessons Learned in the First Year, a session covering practical tips for startups in the early stages.
