Yesterday, Fox News sat down with our own Paul Scheupp to show specifically how face recognition technology helps law enforcement positively identify perpetrators. This technology has taken on particular importance this week as federal law enforcement pursue the people behind the Boston Marathon bombings. This segment, which was broadcast on the Fox show On the Record with Greta Van Susteren, features Mr. Schuepp giving a demonstration of ForensicaGPS and how 2D-to-3D face recognition and pose correction is used to make surveillance images “ID Ready” for matches within databases.
